Pine River Capital adds European credit specialist

Evan Pearce joined Pine River Capital Management as a portfolio manager, specializing in European credit strategies.
The position is new, part of Pine River's increasing
the portfolio management strength of its London office, said Patrick
Clifford, a company spokesman, in an interview.
Mr. Pearce was partner and head of credit investments at London-based Edoma Partners, which closed earlier this year.
Pine River is an alternative investment fixed-income specialist managing $11.6 billion in hedge, mortgage, credit and tail-risk funds, among other esoteric investment strategies.
